How Stablejack Is Changing Yield Farming and Volatility in Crypto

HyperNest Podcast is a monthly series where we meet Web3 founders, industry leaders, and blockchain experts to discuss various topics in the web3 space.

In a recent conversation on the HyperNest podcast, we sat down with  (a.k.a Caesar) co-founder of Stable Jack, to unpack what makes this protocol a game-changer for DeFi and RWA builders.

Meet Caesar: A Builder at the Intersection of Risk & Yield

Caesar, a DeFi veteran since 2017, brings deep insight into yield-generation mechanisms and structured products. Years of trading and protocol development guided him toward conceptualizing Stable Jack—an idea sparked by the instability of major stablecoins like USDC and Luna. Alongside his co-founders, he set out to build a system where yield farming meets capital protection and new exposure opportunities—without the typical risks of liquidation or overleveraging.

“I saw people increasingly interested in matching yield farming with stablecoin safety after the USDC de-peg,” Caesar shared. “It was clear that users wanted both predictability and upside, and Stable Jack was born from that insight.”

The Fundamentals of Stable Jack: Yield Farming Meets Financial Engineering

Stable Jack isn’t just another DeFi yield aggregator or perpetual trading platform. It introduces a novel mechanism that splits yield, volatility, and incentive points from a single collateralized asset, forming three new tokens:

– YT (Yield Token): Grants access to the entire yield of the underlying asset, with principal protection.

– VT (Volatility Token): Offers leveraged exposure to price action without liquidation risk or funding fees.

– PT (Points Token): Focuses on farming points and airdrops, again with principal safety.

This tri-token model revitalizes yield farming by giving users tailor-made financial instruments to match their preferred risk strategy—without needing to reinvent DeFi mechanics.

The Three Core Mechanisms of Yield Farming with Stable Jack

1. Yield Farming with YT: Fixed Income with Flexibility

Imagine you’re a conservative DeFi participant holding $100 worth of an LSD like sAVAX. Stable Jack allows you to deposit it and receive AUSD—a yield-bearing stablecoin backed by your original asset. This AUSD continues to accrue staking rewards, offering risk-averse users a protected gateway to yield farming.

According to Caesar, this model generated over 20% yield in the first six months post-launch, currently stabilizing around a still-competitive 15%. It’s yield farming reimagined: principal-protected income without the complexity of maturity dates or rolling positions.

2. Farming Volatility with VT: High Conviction, Zero Liquidation

For more aggressive yield farmers or traders, the Volatility Token offers a leveraged position on price action with an architectural twist—there’s no risk of liquidation or funding fees. This makes VT especially attractive for long-term conviction plays on assets like AVAX or wstETH.

“The common problem with perpetuals is that long-term exposure gets expensive. VT solves that by giving you leverage without the downsides,” said Caesar.

Leverage is dynamic, fluctuating based on supply/demand balance across the pool. Historically, leverage has hovered around 1.5x, aligning it with responsible growth rather than risky speculation.

3. Farming Airdrops with PT: Maximizing Points with Minimal Capital

The Points Token (PT) enables users to maximize their rewards from airdrops and incentive programs—a growing focus in DeFi. Smaller participants, in particular, can appreciate how PT lets them amplify their reward exposure without giving up their underlying assets.

“Someone staking $1,000 to farm points won’t make life-changing gains,” said Caesar. “But with PT, they gain leveraged access to those rewards while keeping their principal intact.”

Unlike protocols where you must sacrifice principal for exposure, Stable Jack’s PT ensures safety and upside—a rare combination for any yield farmer chasing ecosystem incentives.

Why Stable Jack’s Yield Farming Design Works

1. Pooling vs. AMM: No Slippage, No Impermanent Loss

Unlike AMM-based models such as Pendle, Stablejack relies on a pooled structure—resulting in zero slippage and no impermanent loss. Users mint and redeem tokens at predefined exchange rates, simplifying capital management and strategy execution.

2. No Maturity Dates = Long-Term Strategy Without Maintenance

Traditional yield farming instruments often force users to “roll over” positions to sustain yield. Stable Jack eliminates expiry dates, enabling users to hold positions indefinitely. This is particularly attractive for users orchestrating longer-term DeFi strategies or integrating Stable Jack assets into lending/looping protocols.

3. Internal Balancing: Smart Mechanisms for Long-Term Stability

Stable Jack uses dynamic mint/redeem fees and automatic deleveraging based on collateralization ratio tiers (e.g., at 160% or 147%) to manage imbalances between token types. This keeps the protocol sustainable and avoids the sharp volatility swings seen in other systems.

4. Token Utility: JACK Holders Stake, Earn, and Get Airdrops

In a bid to phase out mercenary capital, Stablejack recently launched its native token JACK, accompanied by a clever “discount ticket” model. Instead of free airdrops, users earn the right to purchase JACK at a discount based on meaningful protocol participation. This system:

– Encourages aligned, long-term holders.

– Limits unnecessary inflation.

– Creates buy-side demand.

JACK stakers receive 50% of protocol revenues and may also qualify for airdrops sourced from protocol collaborations—a powerful incentive that ties token ownership directly to platform growth.

The Road Ahead: What’s Coming for Stable Jack

Stable Jack’s yield farming potential only scratches the surface of its roadmap. Plans include:

– Support for major collateral types like BTC, ETH, SONIC, and even RWA bonds from Turkey.

– Permissionless pair creation and eventually curator-based asset onboarding.

– Continued refining of the AI agent for automating complex DeFi strategies, paving the way for TradFi user adoption.

Additionally, Stable Jack will expand across ecosystems (e.g., to Convergence and Athena) and collaborate directly with Turkish banks and exchanges to bring real-world yield instruments into DeFi—blending on-chain efficiency with traditional trust.

Conclusion: Stable Jack is DeFi, Refined

As DeFi heads into a more mature phase, differentiation based on sustainable utility, asset safety, and permissionless strategy design will drive long-term winners. Stablejack has built a next-generation yield farming protocol that addresses the pitfalls of previous mechanisms—offering everything from hedged yield products to volatility instruments and airdrop yield tools.

Whether you’re a conservative user eyeing yield without exposure, or a high-conviction trader wanting secure leverage, Stable Jack opens the floodgates to smarter yield farming.
